Women in medicine report

This was a report featuring original research that surveyed over 500 female healthcare professionals. This integrated marketing campaign garnered praise and broke company records regarding press coverage.

How the project started

Working at Health eCareers, with a primary audience of healthcare professionals, I felt it was important to do a survey on women in medicine for our DEI report. To make this happen:

  • I developed the campaign and gathered approvals, explaining the goals and uses for the content.

  • Worked with survey vendor IntelliSurvey to launch the survey. I wrote the questions and they helped evaluate for success.

  • When the data was finalized, I helped analyze the findings, and managed the writing with one of our content agencies, Aha Media Group.

  • I created the plan for launch, assets needed (press, social, blog posts, emails), and continuously made plans to keep the content alive.

Results

The most notable success metric for the campaign is that the press release announcing the report garnered a company record of 526 media pickups. The report was praised for its timeliness and important coverage.

The content created from the report fueled the content strategy for months in the form of blog posts, infographics, social media posts, and emails, while also celebrating the important work of women in medicine.
